The Siemens SITRANS LR250 is a 2-wire, 25 GHz pulse radar level transmitter for continuous monitoring of liquids and slurries in storage and process vessels including high temperature and pressure, to arange of 20 m. The LR250 is mounted to a DN100 Stainless Steel flange and is easy to install, quick to configure, and can be installed practically anywhere on your vessel. The graphical user interface and Quick Start Wizard gets you operational in minutes. Process Intelligence echo processing ensures reliable dynamic echo evaluation, even on short ranges and low dielectric media.
This 2-wire pulse Siemens level transmitter continuously monitors liquids and slurries in storage and process vessels using a 25 GHz frequency narrow and focused beam, decreasing sensitivity to obstructions. SITRANS LR250's unique design allows safe and simple programming using the Intrinsically Safe handheld programmer without having to open the instrument's lid. Key applications include liquid bulk storage tanks, process vessels, vaporous liquids, high temperatures, low dielectric media and applications with functional safety requirements
