With our continued growth and success, Instrowest is looking to expand our sales team, and we have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Coordinator.

Position Overview:

As an Internal Sales Representative, you will drive revenue growth by actively engaging with existing and potential customers through various communication channels. Your primary responsibility will be to manage sales leads/ enquiries, generate quotations and proposals, develop strong customer relationships, and provide exceptional support throughout the sales process. You will work closely with the sales team, marketing department, and other internal stakeholders to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company’s overall success.

Core responsibilities and duties include:

  •     Utilise CRM software to manage all incoming enquiries and sales leads.
  •     Work on non-technical enquiries, and generate quotations and contracts.
  •     Help technical and external sales teams create quotations and proposals.
  •     Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, track progress, and update customer information in the CRM system.
  •     Collaborate with the sales team to strategies, plan, and execute targeted sales campaigns to maximise lead generation and conversion rates.
  •     Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and proactively resolving any issues that may arise.
  •     Maintain strong customer relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers.
  •     Work closely with the marketing department to provide feedback on customer needs, competitive intelligence, and market trends to drive effective marketing strategies.
  •     Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination, including order processing, logistics, and post-sales support.
  •     Work with the inventory management team to manage and update the inventory database.
  •     Meet key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide accurate sales reports to the management team.

 

Selection Criteria and Requirements:

  •     Proven experience in internal sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
  •     Proven ability to manage multiple enquiries/leads and convert them into quotations.
  •     Project management experience, including record keeping, preparation of quotations, proposals, agreements and financial skills.
  •     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage customers effectively.
  •     Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  •     Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
  •     Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  •     Adaptability and willingness to learn new products, technologies, and sales techniques.
  •     Highly developed computer literacy skills, including effectively using email, word processing, web searching and project management software.
  •     Self-motivation and ability to work independently.

 

Desirable but not essential:

  •     Experience in an electrical/Instrumentation background, which could be a trade or engineering background.
  •     Experience selling or working with process instrumentation and test & calibration equipment.
  •     Experience in a mining/mineral processing, oil and gas or energy industry.
